The 1-Stop Vehicle Booking System (VBS) is a web-based online slot booking system designed for terminals and container parks. It is used to organise the receival and delivery of shipping containers. The VBS platform can be used at the following Patrick, DP World and Axis Intermodal Container terminals around Australia and New Zealand:
Fremantle – DP World and Patricks Terminals;
Fisherman Islands – DP World and Patrick Terminals;
Port Botany – DP World and Patrick Terminals;
Swanson Docks – Patrick Terminals; and
Port of Auckland – Fergusson Terminal and Bledisloe.
Carriers utilise the VBS to create bookings in any of the 24 Time Zones per day, to transport containers to and from the terminals. The 1-Stop VBS can work with any park management system (PMS) or transport management system (TMS), meaning it can talk to your current system or any new system you choose to implement.
Using 1-Stop’s VBS means you are able to:
- eliminate truck queues;
- provide community visibility across many parks and stevedores;
- validate empty container return information and empty container release data coming from the shipping lines;
- coordinate park and wharf visits with same VBS same screen for road carriers; and
- provide comprehensive reports on all truck performance.
VBS can automatically issue slot invoices to trucking companies and facilitate payment via our payment system, ComPay.
